3HR hunt=$2.44:clap:

Had difficulty digging some areas, its one of 'em soil mixed with rocks. When I was loosing day light had to cherry pick, the '66 I found was on the surface probably a recent drop. Then in another spot I found 3 quarters:yo:, I was totally blind by this time, just relied on my automax:heh: it's all good:smoke:

Well the park has 4-5 baseball fields, I really don't know the history of the park or how long it was there. Some parts of the field have 2-3" of grass and some parts are just gold dry. In most parts the grass have thick roots and some soils are mixed with small rocks which takes time to dig.

Right now I'm hunting on jewelry mode on my 1350 with sensitivity on factory settings. As much as possible also, I try to dig everything but sometimes it gets tiring. Cherry picking mode kicks in when I'm losing the light and just focuses on the bell tones:laugh:
I usually just pick a spot and sweep away:detecting:

Thanks!! I really like it when folks give that sort of info. When its about time to get going, I usually just switch to coins mode. Normally I do like you and hunt in jewelry mode.
Another nice place to detect in such a park environment is any sandy spots like volleyball areas, or woodchips.

Thanks
David
