Nice full moon beach hunt...Ipods,lots of clad,flask of whiskey and more

Out at a couple of beaches early this morning under the full moon......
$11.33 in coin, Ipod, Flask with some sort of alcohol (not sure what,I quit 30 years ago), can of beer, junk ring, part of key chain, and 4 lighters. I kept moving the cigarette butt thing around trying to find were the signal was coming from till I realized it was the signal. lol.... Had a nice pair of sunglasses, but gave them to the parking lot guy. Good to keep them on the payroll for free parking.
This is the second Ipod I found in the past week. Last Monday morning I found an Apple nano (about 1"x1" in size) while detecting the pathway to one of the resorts.....about a half hour later while down at the towel line and a couple of hotels past the resort I noticed a guy making his way towards me, this is around 8am. He asks me if my MD will find an electronic devise,... "Like what?", I ask, and he describes the Ipod I had found,... You know where this is going.
I tell him yes it will, let me get your name and phone number in case I do find it, and I reached into my finds pouch and said," here, hold this'', and dropped the ipod in his hand. Just like me, he was stunned, we were both saying what are the odds. It was lost Sunday afternoon after he and his family(locals on a weekend getaway) had spent the weekend at the hotel. He noticed it was missing that Sunday night after unpacking and made the drive back to the hotel Monday morning to look for it.....Like I said,"What are the odds!!!"
I have already called the hotel where this mornings Ipod was found to see if anyone has reported one missing.Nothing yet, but they have my contact info. GL ALL

That's cool that you was able to find the owner of one of the ipods, yeah what are the odds of that happening the way it did?

I found one of those cigarette things a few years ago, it's a one hitter, lol
 
Update:
*This one is not an ipod. It's a rechargeable power supply for phones, and other devises. Hence the name "Pineapple Juice."
*The flask contains Rum,so says my brother who gets all my alcohol finds, unless I plan to boil some shrimp!.....It was buried in the sand, guess they were hiding it from the beach patrol.
*And yeah Mark, I knew about the one hitter,....(don't ask me how .lol) must be why I found one of the lighters next to it.
 
Nice finds as always Bob! And what are the odds of someone asking you to locate something and you just happened to have it in your pouch! That's awesome! Nice work!
 
Nice finds! Cool story about the IPOD. Amazing sometimes how those things work out. Nice looking flask too. I'm not a rum drinker, but I bet it would hold some good Tennessee whiskey! :cheers:
