I found this tiny cuff button and just took a pic. It's an "L.A. 1" which is "Light Artillery, 1st Regiment"...probably War of 1812 era.
It's tiny, & the Edge had the power to sniff it out....

Thats very nice Bill! Would something that size be a cuff button?
Congrats
Tom

you found it at a camp you and your brother have spanked mercilessly for years to the point that you couldn't hear any more targets (unleth you hunted in all metal but thath juth too noythy and bethides everyone knowth that dithcriminate ith deeper!!)   And now with the Te.... uh, I mean the Edge, which you singlehandedly designed and built all the prototypes on your coffee table, you're yankin them buttons from 24" and deeper like it's a "vurgyn" camp. ;) ;) ;)

every new machine out anymore makes them old sites Vurgyn again. Too bad its gonna take another month or so before we can see some head-to-head comparisons on the latest and greatest. Oh, maybe thats actually been done already??

HH Tom

if anyone in New England has the lastest & greatest...the Edge is willing.
all 36 iron numbers or 72 number possibilites that can scrub the ground...all just waiting :D

sure this was at a farm field. This is a new farm we just got permission. I have found about 3-4 of these buttons at other places prior. Lots of rain has made the soil all packed down nice as opposed to being fluffy & dry like it was. So I edge & wet soil helped me got to this one. It really is a tiny target, that why I took the photo in my hand. HH, Bill
