Nice Batch Of Loot After Work Today, Including A :canadaflag: RCMP Quarter :jump:

Got out after work with the intention of sliding at least one silver out of the ground. It never happened. I feel that I have a silver "HEX" over me. But, I did get a lot of pennies in the 40's and 50's, coins which I donate to a Coins For Kids Program, where a coin collector in Edmonton does presentations in schools and donates an old coin to each student. Of course, a 1940's coin might as well be a Roman coin to a six year old. I keep the older ones separate, so I don't spend hours at the end of the year sorting my pennies.

Here are the better finds from today. A 1952 Wheat cent with a nice patina on it, a 1940 nickel and a RCMP quarter, which was only circulated one year. There is a series where the tentacles are a different from the standard mintage, which are worth a lot of money. This one didn't pass that test.

Welcome to the silver hex club, John. Im a long time member member and am fast approaching Emeritus status.

Yeah I just started my official summer of 2007 coin count. I have about $25.00 in my goodie can already. Hope I do better this summer. Only found about $450 last summer plus rings and goodies

Bill.
