Nice 18k gold cross and chain

I went to a place i have hunted for years it used to be a outdoor dance park in the 1920,s sort of a outdoor barn dance with bands and lots of dancing hoe downs swing your partner lol over 100 acres my buddy and me have found lots of old silver coins and some rings it has a very large fresh water pond used as a swimming hole back in its days most of the place is over grown now but the Town does cut it twice a year, i try around the edge of the water with my GT and the S12 coil lots of junk some clad a broken silver ring then a low groan !! a 160 on the meter i dug only 4 inches and came up with this cross it,s marked 18k and chain to all tied up in knots it has 21 stones i dont think they are real but ill have It checked anyway , it weigh,s in at 41 grams :detecting: HH Jim

Mud the chain is 24 " 3.5 mm Figuroa my mistake the chain is 14k the cross is 18k very small markings . Jim

18K..... i think you will find those are real stones. Rarely will anyone put cheap stones on anything 18K. Man.... almost $1700....you got a real ticket to brag about, congrats.

Thanks all for the comments i guess i can say i finally hit pay dirt i took the cross and chain to a good friend who has been a coin dealer for 35 years he has his own shop and knows his gold and diamonds for sure he says it is the REAL THING !!! woohoo the chips add up to a full Ct 21 of them so between the gold 14k and 18k it is worth about 1400.00 my best Bling so far . It looks like i just might be getting that Excal II this Winter after all . :detecting: Jim
