I recently when to Lake MI. I did find a silver ring, which was nice. Surprised that I did not find gold. Possibly many people use water detectors their. Today I went to a small lake a few miles from my home. After an hour of searching, I began to pray for that wonderful sound of gold. Within a few minutes whoosh. I scooped up a mans white gold ring, with ten small diamonds. I love that sound, and love seeing a ring in my scoop. I had to really look hard to see the etching that states 14k w. It was not punched into the gold, it was etched. If it was not for a strong magnifying glass, I would have never seen it. Soon I will post the rings I found so far. Had trouble downloading pictures on this forum before.
