Thanks again to NH Bob for setting up such a fun hunt last weekend.I think the reason we didn't find much silver is that they had melted from the heat! It was great meeting all of the guys and I'm looking forward to this fall's cooler weather hunt!

While you were there, I was in WI. (If everything came down to detecting, I should have stayed here. But it doesn't. :) )
 
I'm not sure what the round button with the hole punched thru was used on. Someone in the group mentioned that the hole punching was so that the button could still be used after the shank broke.
Can anyone else help ID this?
