I've been field testing the Nexus, especially for relics but due to our area being very hot, dry and humid, my time with the Nexus has been limited. Add ticks, chiggers, yellow jackets and most all of my sites overgrown with summer vegetation, things have been nearly impossible to hunt. It rained much of today but the highs will remain in the mid 80s through next week. What I'm waiting for is our first frost, which should be only weeks away. I plan on taking the Nexus to VA next month and hopefully the conditions will be more favorable. I'll be posting my findings as I go, so watch for them here and my web site. The Nexus has been very easy to ground balance and operate. It is very sensitive to the smallest of objects, but I'm expecting to get extreme depth out of it. I pay little attention to "air tests" but I have managed to dig some very deep targets. It was no fun in our heat and humidity. I suspect it will major in finding trash pits, winter huts and deep relics, especially artillery shells and the like. I'll keep you posted. Good hunting, David@Dixie
