News regarding our Good Friend... VT. Dave....

I received verbal confirmation today, from Dave's son-in-law, that Dave indeed suffered some medical issues in the past couple of weeks. He has been having extensive testing performed recently in a major New Hampshire Hospital. As of this morning, Dave was being transported to Boston Massachusetts, Brigham Womens Hospital (?) for even more intensive tests, and to see Specialists, to get to the root of the cause. If anyone would like to send a card , send me a personal message, and i will give my address. His daughter lives in the same town just a couple of house's down from one of my best friends.. I will personally deliver any mail to her home, so she may bring it to Dave during hospital visits. ............. I met Dave personally about a year ago. He knew the North shore area i live in a little, because of his daughter & husband attending school in the area, and now employed in the area. We spent most of a Sunday touring the ocean shores and beaches. Growing up here, i was able to show Dave quite a few "hidden" roads, and places to see or hunt. We had a great time, although i didn't realize i was keeping him from his grandkids! Ooops! Dave and i were gonna hook up again, but the timing never was right. A weekend visit from Vermont to Beverly flies by pretty quick! Its gonna take time, but I'm hoping for the best and a quick recovery. Dave is one of the Best! A true Gentleman! Dave is the Big Guy!

I knew he had had one stroke but he told me that he was ok but I knew something had gone wrong since. It is not like him to not post. My card is on the way!!

Thanks Ron

I sure hope they find the problem and can fix it. He and I have never met in person, but I sure enjoyed talking to him online here. I tired to get to his place last year but things kept popping up. I will make it this year. Keep us posted. George-CT
