News on an F75 inline probe...

I just got an email back from Ralph @ Sunray, in response to my inquiry about accessories for the F75 and T2, and it sounds like GREAT news to me:

" Michael,

Thank you for your interest in future Sun Ray products and glad you are enjoying our present accessories.

We are presently field testing an in-line probe for the F-75. We will be doing possible R & D on something for the T-2 in the future but that is only a maybe at this time. Field testing is almost complete on the F-75 probe and we hope to have production sometime the later part of October or first of November if everything goes well. I have no further information at this time.

I had a S-1 probe on my SovereignGT but when I got a pocket uni-probe I took it off and never looked back. I'm not thrilled about adding any weight to my F75, besides like I said... the pocket uni-probe rules! I have no problem heaing it with my SR phones on.

I'll be excited about a large round coil though...

Well I really love my uniprobe so I am happy for all of you that need a good probe.:wiggle:

Would rather see them building coils for the F75. Have one of there probes for my DFX and I have to cut the pre amp down every time I switch to it. Too much trouble
so I do not use it much.

You are going to be rethinking that one. I spoke to Ralph when he was testing his in line probe for the f75 and because the f75's response is so fast and it gets good separation it does the same with his probe, only better (because it's a smaller coil). I was talking to him while he was bench testing it and he was very excited, not just because the probe worked so well, but he just couldn't wait to get out and use it. I have the waterproof Uniprobe, figured it would be a good compliment to my Excalibur and until Ralph finished a probe for the f75 I was going to use the Uniprobe. Well, I ended up carrying my Explorer SE on my shoulder to use my Sun Ray probe on it while swinging the F75. Try that for six hours and you'll get an idea of how much I like my Sun Ray probe compared to the Uniprobe.
