Word of caution.
There are some that like it and some that don’t so don’t let that fool you.
With the 2.0 version is installed it dose not effect the old version.
When installed it gives you the new F2 which is just one more advanced option that is toggled from the regular EF mode. You still have the old original EF

How to find the version# on the 600?

you have to connect to Minelab and go to updates and follow instructions and it will tell you what version is I installed and give you options to install or remove the version you have to previous update . Its easy to do

You can look on the box that the detector came in and it
will have what version program is installed.

If you can get to the F2 option, you've got the latest.
If you can't, you need to update.
