Newer 2200

Which of the Bounty Hunter 2200 line is the newest, the discovery, elite, legacy or titan.I know some are 2500's or 2000xd,but which is the newest.I have the Discovery 2200 sold by Radio Shack, the grey colored one.The reason I ask is I'm bidding on an elite 2200 and was wondering if it is a newer model or older model than the one I have.

I don't think electronically there will be any difference.

I've been looking at all the manuals on-line and there seems to be no difference in use.I'm just getting into this hobby. My dad has 2 vintage detectors from back in the 70's and this is how I was introduced to the hobby year's ago.His 2 detectors are a Whites Coinmaster 4D/B and a Garrett ADS something. The 2200 is simple to operate, just turn on and eliminate what you don't want to find and go.I hate to eliminate anything but if you don't you will be digging every few inches.

All the old homesteads me and my dad used to vist long ago are all gone now. We've been trying to figure out on a map as to where the old houses and farm building's used to be but now most of that is new houses and private property.

i believe it goes elite legacy titan but dont quote me . i dont think theres a difference anyway. the 2200 was my first machine and it found me lots of goodies its a great starter machine no question

The thrill is still there as it was when I was a kid out with dad and the detector would start buzzing and your heart would start racing as to what treasure layed buried below your feet.I'm already on my way to paying for this detector, found all of 14 cents just in my back yard.Four pennies and a 1970 dime and I'm loving it.Was scared I would buy this metal detector and go out with it a few times then set it in the corner to collect dust. Not yet anyway. Can't wait to get to the soccer fields and play grounds where my great nephews play.
