Newcomer for Whites MXT: I'll have this detector in a few days (wednesday).

Whites MXT users: I'll be a newcomer to the Whites MXT soon. I'll have my used (nearly used ) Whites MXT detector this Wednesday. Is this MXT user friendly (easy to use)?? Does this detector find coins down 10 - 12 inches with the 950 (9 1/2 inch) coil?? Is it hard to ground balance this machine?? I currently own a Tesoro Silver Sabre U-Max (3 audio tones,with no Target ID/visual display on it. I haven't found much old coins with this Tesoro. I'm a tesoro man,but I'm jumping ship and trying out Whites detectors. I've tried several Tesoro's,Garrett's,Bounty Hunter's detectors with no luck. I'm hoping this Whites MXT is going to be my one and only metal detector. I've been metal detecting since the year 2001 (6 years now). Are you Whites MXT users happy with your MXT's?? Any advice you can give me on this Whites MXT? I'LL RECEIVE THIS USED (NEARLY NEW) WHITES MXT THIS WEDNESDAY VIA UPS! I BOUGHT IT ON THE INTERNET FOR ONLY $500 PLUS SHIPPING!! iT HAS ONLY BEEN USED A FEW TIMES,AND i THINK IT STILL HAS A WARRANTY LEFT ON IT. Yes Whites warranties are transferable. I am a new comer myself and my first serious machine is the MXT. I got mine about a week ago, and due to tropical storm type rain, have been confined to searching my own backyard. I found something the first time out!! I took one step out and found a target. It was a scrap of aluminum siding that had been there since 1990! It was EXACTALY where the MXT said it would be.
If I can find targets with the MXT, then you certainly can!

Thanks for the tips! I will have my Whites MXT this Wednesday! I can hardly wait.. I bought it used on the internet (not ebay) some other site. I paid $500 for it plus shipping charges! The guy that I'm buying it from is the original owner..he bought this MXT one year ago,and he only used it two or three times! he can't use it,due to his back problems.. Is this MXT easy to use??
