:ukflag: Hi guys, new to the forum and thought i would introduce myself to you all, ive been detecting over 16 years now in the UK and used many machines over the years including the E Trac, i now use the AT PRO INTERNATIONAL and have to say its the best machine for small silver hammered coins i have ever used and it will be my last detector for sure, my best finds this year have been a king john short cross penny 1199 -1216 a 1899 gold half soveriegn, a cut half king john, and a 97 ad (i think) roman silver denari of Trajon , cheers all Andy

Wow, we got nothing like those coins over here!!!

The international version of the AT Pro was designed with you guys from the :ukflag: in mind. Glad it's doing what it is supposed to. Please do post your pics of finds. I will soon be posting monthly summary's of rings and relics.

Welcome Andy, I'll send you a couple mercs if you send me the next soveriegn you find:thumbup: lol I know thats not gonna happen. welcome to the forum and best of luck to you.

Sounds like you're in a great area for some ancient goodness!!

Cheers to all for the warm welcome to the forum:detecting: yes im very fortunate to live very close to historic York (about 8 miles away) and the farmers are great for giving permision to hunt their land, Ive met quite a few of you guys from across the Pond at many of the detecting rallies held over here in summer and they love finding Medievil and Roman coins and brooches, one guy just beat me to a Gold Noble coin in perfect condition, you would have thought he had won the lottery and he was still smilling 2 days later:bouncy:, hope to meet up with some of you in the summer time so start cashing them mercs in for your blighty fund, cheers all Andy
