I sold one of my old high school buddies my MXT and an Ace 250 for his grandson for $450.00 buck including head phones for each unit. He has all of about 3 hours on the MXT.
I took him out to some curb strips to show him how to use the MXT properly.

This morning he went out to hunt a friends yard and found his first silver. A 1954 silver quarter. How is that for beginners luck. I'm really happy for him. He does not realize how hard it is to find silver. He has the right idea though, private property is the best place to find silver.

My friends name is Ron. He is hunting in a little town called Blythe, ca. Right on the California, Arizona border. Give him a shout out for being a newby and having such good luck.

Thanks for reading------------------GOOD LUCK & HAPPY HUNTING

I know Blythe. We would ride dirt bikes near there when I was much dumber, I mean younger.

Shadowulf where you from. Blythe surely has not gotten any better. I grew up there. Was a great place way back when, but that was over 50 years ago. There are a lot of snowbird detectorists digging in Blythe. Not much left to find it has been hunted hard.
