Hi all,
I have just bought my first detector (the Tracker IV) from Dave Cooper in Brisbane and I am wondering if there is anyone in the Brisbane area keen to go for a hunt ?

Hi, I don't have a detector at the moment but I'm currently thinking about getting a tracker iv or possibly the next model up, from dave cooper, and I'd be very interested in tagging along with you to see how well the tracker iv works in the real world.
Have you been out anywhere yet and if so how did it go?

I'm actually buying a Tracker this friday from David cooper and pretty keen to have a hunt around a few locations of interest.
A couple of old cart tracks nearby should bring a few oldies out of the ground.
I dont know wheather you guys know, but try around the old gates to rodeo grounds where people used to pay as i've scored some goodies in places like that.
I also want to try out some of the old goldfields near Warwick, just gotta get permission and local knowledge first.
Did David mentioned the closure of his shop soon?
It's a bit sad but that's life.

I've only been able to email him so far, but i should be able to give him a call tomorrow.
just curious about his pricing too..
I have seen the units a little cheaper elsewhere but the advantage is he is local, although if his shop is closing that makes any warranty claim a little difficult..
