Newbie's yard finds....

Did more swinging out in my yard, found my best stuff from my own yard, so far.

Yesterday (4-22-09)
Three items of interest....

A piece that almost looks like the front of a horse shoe....

Part of a steering wheel from a toy car....

A bent up cylinder, about the size of a C battery....
Stainless steel, maybe?

Today (4-23-09)

One dime, one wheat (1945), three from the 70's...(all still need a good cleaning)

And a dish.... From a chuck wagon.... (or at least with a chuck wagon pictured on the dish)

I can see I gotta start doing my photos differently. I know a good way to take close ups, but I was too lazy to get the old e-bay set up out of the basement.

.22 shell and clad from the park. 12 Gauge brasses from Wettick....

That is awesome!! I am also a newbie and also had the most luck before ever leaving my front yard, I have attached what I found within ten minutes in my front yard. 4 Mercury Dimes 1917, 1923, 1942, and 1945 and a 1941 walking liberty half dollar. Then the next day I found a 14k Gold ring with three small diamonds. WOOHOO!! Do not give up on your yard, my husband found a 10k gold mens wedding band under our mailbox.
