G/day all,I have been lurking for a while and finally decided to buy a x terra70 after reading all the good reports from other owners.I started gold detecting in central Victoria Australia in 1980 and have been a regular ever since.I started with a Whites 5000 followed by many others including Garretts and Fisher and finally Minelabs 2100,but owing to advancing age and crook back I decided to downsize which will allow me to keep on detecting for a long while yet.(I hope).I have never found my fortune but have quite a few nice nuggetts from all over the Victorian goldfield including the high country, which is one of my favourite destinations.I will post some of my finds later and hope to contribute the odd post. Many thanks for the info I have already gleaned on the X terra 70.It seems like a great little machine and I am hanging out to get into the goldfields and try it out.Cheers.

Welcome to the forum........looking forward to seeing some of those little yellow jelly beans. All the best with the XT-70 I'm sure your going to have alot of good times with it
