Just got a V3i , Do you have to do anything on the screen if you change coils? thanks Don Tyler

Just tell the machine what coil you are using and you may have to adjust the rx and disc. and recovery to best suit the coil you are using.

Welcome. Another good thing to do initially is sit down and just go through all the ins and outs of the menu cascades. (You don't have to have the rods and coil connected at all.) Some good repetitive time spent here will be really helpful down the road.
