Just got the metal detector itch again after not using my White classic ID I bought in 2001. I then went to metaldetectors.com and I purchased
a MineLab X-Terra 505 which is due to be delivered today by UPS. Just hope this model is appropriate for me since my greatest frustration is
getting an indication and then digging,digging digging w/o nothing found. I know I can't be the only one with this problem. Oh well...just checking
in for the first time.Ciao

Welcome Tightwad! I am sure you will be pleased. Just go to the FAQFAQ section and read all you can. Go out and use the machine then come back and read again.
You will get a ton of info on this board.

That's a good machine you ordered. Suggestion, go to the top of the first page and read the FAQFAQ section. A mountain of info there. Most of the info there for the X-50 should match up with the 505. Good Luck.
