Newbie with ctx 3030

Ok,guys. Just got thru talking to moms over coffee and she asked me if if I wanted a new detector for my birthday. I paused and decided to shoot high and said I really "needed" a ctx 3030 and a hand pinpointer to replace my aging explorer. She said OK, if that's what you want. I really think She's a keeper. After wipeing the big stupid grin off my face I realised I really dont know a lot about the 3030. Thats why I am now on this forum, maybe you guys can let me know some things.
. Are my SEF coils compatible with the 3030?
. I have always used a detector mounted pinpointer, what is the best handheld to get?
. can any headphones be used with the wireless system ?
. is there a simulator online for the 3030?
. does minelab have the manual availiable for download

Please feel free to comment on the above questions or anything else I should know as a new owner ?

No only the 17" and 6" from Minelab and a new coil will be coming from Coiltek will be available soon.

I use the Garrett Propointer there have been some good reviews of the new White,s TRX.

. can any headphones be used with the wireless system ?

Yes, any will work with theWM-10 module. The supplied Koss will work to shut off internal speaker but you need to check to see if others have correct plug.

. is there a simulator online for the 3030?

No.

Yes it is available on their website.

Thanks Bell-Two, That answers what questions I have now, and probably have more to come. Won't get the unit until probably July, but I want to get familiar as I can beforehand. I used an Explorer 11 for about 8 years and loved it once I understood what it was telling me.
