Hi,
Total newbie at dirt fishing. Read enough to start with a Garrett Pro ...but have a minor problem.
The head of the unit will not stay in place it swivels. (So instead of staying parallel with the ground the back will drop down making it impossible to fish)
I put the two thick rubber washers one on each side and tightened down but no go. It still moves way to easily.
I hate to use pliers on these plastic tighteners, they appear to be hand tighteners ....So pliers will likely break them.
So here I am with a silly question....embarrassing first post.

Never mind. I found the answer. Washers were on outside, they need to be inside the forks, seated in the side ends of the shaft.

Well you could try another rubber washer or an O-ring in there to tighten it up. Just a thought.

That was my question.....glad you are up and running.
