I'm ready to buy my first metal detector. Several family members (all now gone) were passionate about their White's detectors so I'm leaning that way. More specifically, I'm thinking about the MXT All Pro. I'm planning to poke around my rural mountain area and then see how it goes from there.

Your thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum . The MXT All Pro is a great choice .I'm very happy with mine . You may also want to think about getting the 5.3 Eclipse concentric coil to go along with that stock 10" DD coil .

Welcome to the forum and you can't go wrong with the Whites family of MXT. I've had my MXT since they first came off the production line and I wouldn't part with it.....Well, maybe with a new MXT Pro. ;) You'll do just fine with purchasing a Whites. Good quality, made in the good old U.S.A.

Jup, cann't go wrong with a White's. You'll love the MXT. Oh, and welcome aboard.

Believe me, it's a very easy machine to learn. You'll do just fine. After a while, you might want to look into purchasing a smaller coil.....and again, you might not. Depending on what and how you are hunting. HH!

Thanks for your responses. I ordered the MXT All Pro today and can't wait to get it! I'll be relying on your for guidance.

You're going to love that machine. Whites is an excellent choice. Can't wait till you get out your first time and start finding things. It's a hobby that pays for itself. Happy Hunting!
