NEWBIE QUESTION

I'M GETTING A F-75 LTD FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT. MY QUESTION IS....DO THE SETTINGS..DISC LEVEL, SENSITIVITY, # OF TONES, PROCESS # IN DISCRIM MODE.....CARRY OVER WHEN YOU RUN THE DETECTOR IN THE ALL METAL MODE....????

REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO USING THIS DETECTOR. I APPRECIATE ANY HELP AND THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR POSTS AND SHARING OF INFO ON THIS F-75 MACHINE.

MERRY CHRISTMAS................DAND.................dand

if you go to motion all metal from either Boost process, then that AM mode will be "boosted" as well. Make the transition from any of the other processes to AM, and AM mode will be "unboosted", and the exact same as the classic F75.
Sensitivity, threshold, etc etc for AM are adjusted from the AM side of the menu, and are separate from the disc settings. There are no "processes" or tone options in AM. Read your manual thoroughly when you get it and it will explain things for you. I Do believe the Ground bal setting will transfer as well, but that a bit of a moot point, as its so easy to GB with the "fast grab"

I KNOW THIS DETECTOR WILL HAVE SOME WHAT OF A LEARNING CURVE ESPECIALLY AFTER USING AN MXT ALL THIS TIME.

THANKS AGAIN...HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS........DAN
