Newbie question

Hello,

I never used a metal detector before and would like to get one in order to look for
small metallic objects in the sand.
The objects would be between 1 and 2 inches large.
I found a few detectors on this website:

Could you please recommend me which of these would be good for small objects,
they are quite expensive and I do not want to spend money on the wrong detector.

What Kind of metal are you looking for. Where do you want to hunt, dry land, beach, water? What is your budget.
