Newbie must decide between DFX and MXT

Is the DFX actually worth the extra money over the MXT?

I am a retiree interested in searching the salt water beaches, and the woodlands of New England for coins, jewelry, bottle dumps, and relics.

Thanks,

Al

For wet saltwater conditions, the DFX would definately be the better choice. There are just some things that a single frequency machine cannot do as well as a multi-frequency. Wet saltwater beaches is one of them.

DFX is good on wet sand...dual freqs. make that possible... too, being able to choose between a high and low freq. also has it advantage depending on what your hunting for.... RichardnTn
