Newbie looking for help to ID Teknetics coincomputer model.

Hi i have just bought a Teknetics coincomputer from a thrift shop and i need some help. First i would like to identify it but the side name plates have fallen off or have been removed (My guess is it has been opened for a repair and they would not stay on after that.) So i don't know if its a 9000, Mark 1 or what model it may be but it says coincomputer below the meter and above the control knobs. It has only 2 knobs below the meter. The bottom being the power on / off and charge. The top knob controls the filer labeled GB DISC / Tone. numbered 1 thru 9 with foil, p. tab and S Caps. It has a toggle switch at the end of the hand grip. The coil is solid and round with Teknetics on it and the cable is connected to the electronics by a 5 pin Din plug. The battery pack has two doors with 6 AA batteries on one side and 8 on the other (21 vdc system). There a 1/4 inch headphone jack and what i guess to be a Battery charger port, though one did not come with the metal detector. If anybody can identify it please let me know. The case is gray plastic and black on the meter and control knobs.

If that happens, i would like to find a source for a manual or at least get some tips on how to use this oldie but goodie. If a picture will help i can send one or two.

thanks, pale luna

Sounds like it's a Mark 1, Here's a recent pic from one that sold on eBay.

I do have a couple of Mark 1's but no pics at the moment, Compare yours with the recent ebay pic below.

Plus, The meter in the pic is from a Whites detector, But the housing and controls should match up with yours.

Thanks for the post Paul (Ca)! The main difference is that this model has only has only 1 control knob except for the power. Is it still a Mark I? And if it is where can i find a manual?
