Hey All,
Just wanted to say "HI".
I'm new to the metal detecting hobby. I've always be interested in treasure hunting but just recently bought a Tesoro Cibola.
I'm hoping to get out this Spring and do some digging.
I was wondering if there is anyone else from the East TN. area?
My friends and I would love to meet up with some new digging buddies.
How many women are into this hobby?
When I became interested in this hobby I never thought about how scary it would be for me to go out by myself. There are some crazy people out there and I'm just now learning it's not safe for a girl to go alone. Any helpful hints on detecting alone?
Thanks a bunch. Hope to post more later.
Happy Digging everyone. :twodetecting:

Welcome Terese, I seldom post on here, but you are entering an addicting and fun hobby. I am in east Tn. just east of Knoxville towards the mountains. I have no fear of detecting any where, but considering you are a woman, my advice would be to stay aware of your surroundings at all times, especially in the more isolated areas. You will enjoy this hobby :))) vic
