Was wondering if any one could tell me how to tighten up the black box. I took it apart but could not see any screws on the inside. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am loving this site you guys rock here. Thanks Dave D

I think the best way is to send it to White's and have them give the machine a tune up and fix the loose box. I believe that they are held on with rivets and not screws. And if I remember right they had some that went through production with not so great rivets. I sent a Classic ID back to have the same thing fixed on it. They went to a heavier rivet after awhile. Or you could call White's and ask for Todd ( great guy to deal with ) and he could tell you exactly what it takes to fix it , and rather its screws or rivets etc 800-547-6911

Thank you for that info I will be calling Todd. I really like the machine but don't like the box loosening up. Thanks again

If I remember correctly you have to remove the 4 screws on the sides. Remove the 4 screws on top at each end of the box next to the rod. Then take the case apart and you'll see two round globs of silicone. Remove the silicone and tighten the screws or install larger ones. Then seal over the screw heads so liquid won't get in there from getting water in the rod.

Dehd, only the two speaker screws have silicone(Which don't remove).Eight metal screws holds the case on 4 on top and two on each side.I usually just get one corner started and maneuver into place (or loosen in the same way)and tighten little at a time to line holes up for sheet metal screws.I aways use a cloth to set the box on the black shows scratches)Hope this helps.
