It's 11:59 pm here.This newbie is headed out first thing in the am. like I said "NEWBIE" is going to get in the lane.I'm armed with the bounty hunter pioneer 2002,a col linger,spade,and most of all pride on my shoulder. You see my wife thinks I'm "somewhat retarded" But she is kind of right.Yesterday I bought a set of ear phones for $25.00. The bad part is I paid an additional $30.00 to have them over nighted to my home.(I wanted them here in time for tomorrow) This new to me but, I think my new found Hobby is going to be wonderful and real exciting.Oh don't laugh! It's partly your fault. The post I've read in this forum and the connection between people of interest has really inspired me. Anyway I'll shut up now and hopefully I'll have some pic's for you all Sunday.

OK, well that IS kind of nuts! But at the same time, I can thoroughly understand your unbridled enthusiasm and urgency. I'm very much an "instant gratification" type in just about everything I do. I've been restoring a motorcycle and thus have been ordering a lot of parts, buying stuff on eBay, buying new stuff...it seems like I'm always waiting for something to come in a box from somewhere. And I check the FedEx or UPS site 20 times a day when I'm expecting a package, wanting to see where it is NOW! And I HAVE paid more to get something sooner. But paying more for the SHIPPING than for the SOMETHING? You've taken instant gratification to the next level!
