Newbie F5 Question

When the unit acts up or does not work anymore !

You will know when, the unit will act up due to the lack of power from the batteries.

Most change the batteries out when it gets to 2 or 1 bar on the meter. I use rechargeables and change them out when it gets to 3 bars on my F4.
