Newbie ? CZ 21 v Tiger Shark or Sand Shard

Still trying to figure what to get. Can someone tell me the best best MD for ....Saltwater Surf, Saltwater Wet Sand...Corpus Christi Texas beaches. Thanks, David

your asking this question in the WRONG FORUM. You won't get many users of the other detectors on the CZ Forum. I would ask the question on the Beach and Scuba Forum.

Each machine has wonderful points and weaknesses. Sand Shark is a PI unit and goes deep but will find lots of trash. Sand Shark is made by the same company and is a VLF unit with a lifetime warranty. CZ-21 is a very hot machine in salt and fresh water. Lots of other choices you missed.

For salt water, CZ21 and Sand Shark compliment each other very well. I've got an older CZ20 and a Sand Shark. Sand Shark is just a little deeper, but when there are a lot of fish hooks, hair pins and other iron trash, the CZ does the job with much less trash recovery.
