:shrug:I'm going on my first beach hunt this weekend. I'll be using a Bounty Hunter pioneer 2002. Besides a spade something to put trash in and a finds pouch. what would make it fairly easy to find small objects in all that sand. I was thinking of using some sort of sifter. Any suggestions would be appreciated

:clapping: Thanks for the reply.I'll definitely give a shot.Who knows maybe I'll be-able to post some picks.

find a nail and adjust it till you descriminate that out. Dig everything else. If you cannot find a scoop(? fry basket/something with big enough holes to sift the sand) dig it out with the shovel and pick it out of what you scooped, a nail bag from home depot works for what you find. If you go near the water/wet sand it will go nuts so back up to the dry stuff.
good luck. had this same conversation with someone I met on the beach last night ( with a shovel )
