The way things are going with new detectors we all better wait and not hold our breath. It seems the T2 for now is the new machine on the block and does things the way they need to be done simple and fast and powerful.

Lets see how Fisher joins in do they take the next step and make the next generation detector? Do they take the T2 to the next step and make a new and improved design.

If they follow the explorer then it should not be a big deal! Maybe a new CZ now that would be nice. Nasa Tom doesn't know of anything they are doing so he was left out and so was that other guy the coinstrike guy.

I dunno With the sheet over it. It sure looks like it got into bed with someone. With NASA Tom out, I have my doubts it'll be a new CZ. A TZ perhaps.
If they have a new design, it must be internal. Because even under the sheet, it sure looks like a T2 Mini Me.
I'm guessing of course, but I suspect it's going to be their new mid level (range) detector. Much like the ID EDGE was. HH
