Hey Y'all,
I found these two items on my property on New Year's Day and was hoping that someone might know what they are. The square tin is 2" x 1 3/4" and the round lid is 1 1/2" in diameter. The both have the same lines w/ a small rectangle tucked away in the corner. The only difference is that the lid has 2 lines around the rectangle where the tin has 1 line around the rectangle. The tin has a lid on it with an opening in the back. Our theory is that it was a wooden matchbox holder w/ the striker missing...any ideas?
Also found were 2 rings, a 1951 dogtag a 1964 penny a 1975 penny and a brass Pincess Pat compact tin.
