Thanks GLenn - it actually is a piece of geode , not sure how it got cut in to that shape etc, but that's what it is.
 
Nice... I love finding enamel pins. Good job Karl. Do you happen to remember what the pin ID'd as? And how did the machine pick up a geode:) I could make a fortune with a geode detector...lol
 
Terra sorry , Don't remember what the pin id as, and the geode was a surface find. geode are easy to find here got a fence row full of them,
but that particular one was found behind a school with that wedge cut , thats why at first I wasn't for sure what it was till i got it cleaned up and all.
