Hello....I got my Terra 30 today and got to try it out for about 45 minutes tonight before the rains came. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the little machine. Great pinpointing(love the circles), solid VDI locks and nice target separation.

I found a dime and a nickel in the same hole and the machine gave me a pretty solid lock on both. It locked on the dime but would jump over to 24 also. Another time I got a solid 36 lock and recovered a dime. Swept the hole again and got a 24 lock. I dug down maybe 1/4" and there was a penny right under the dime. I think its great this machine don't let the corroded pennies take over.

I have hunted this area before with 3 other machine and never recovered so many dimes and nickels so fast. The take for the 45 minutes wasn't blazing but I got 7D, 2N and 2 pennies. I think this machine and me are going to get along great.

I don't see very many post on here for the X30 to read. If any of you have one and want to throw me some advise I would appreciate it.

HiYa Tink:

Glad you made it here; I've learned a lot on this forum already and the folks are very nice and helpful, too.

As for advice, it sounds like I need to consult you:thumbup:, with the success from your first little hunt. Sure hope ya like the 30; it should be a dandy.

Hi tink.
Welcome to the forum.
I also own the X30. It's a fun machine to operate. Just a couple of things to keep in mind when you operate it.Keep the sensitivity cranked up as high as you can or you will miss the smaller coins. Also, a coin will almost always lock onto a single number or bounce between one number and the next number. If it is any more erratic than that, it is either, junk(usually) or you have a second target in close proximity to it.
Have fun with your new machine.
Mick Evans.

I have really enjoyed my X-Terra 30. While it does not have as many bells and whistles as my X-Terra 70, I am always amazed at just how good it is at finding some good targets. It is probably one of the best kept secrets, and very dependable and easy to use. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

Hey Tinker

I have an x-terra 30 here in sunny Wales and I have had some pretty good results with it, including 4 gold rings, about
