New water Machines vs. StingRay II

Please compare the new Tesoro water machines to the Stingray II. I know where a used Sting is that is for sale.
Also I have a Garett AT4 in good shape. Not sure how it falls in to play here in the line up.

First you have to beat the original stingray.
I wish the company consider reintroducing the stingray, with one toggle switch, three modes, motion discrim, all metal no motion, and tr.

It seems almost everyone prefers the Stingray models over the Tigershark. Why did Tesoro decide to quit building such a popular machine?

I use a Tigershark and love it. If I am not mistaken the Tigershark uses the same circuitry that the original Stingray had (I've used the Stingray, too). I was told that Tesoro changed the circuitry for the Stingray II and the guys I know that used the II did not like it as well. I haven't used the PI detector, Sand Shark, so I can't comment on it.
