This area in the Gold Country has so much iron that you have to really learn how to be an iron hunter. I think the gain did a fantastic job..there was no trash to worry about but tons of square nails. How many of you dig the low tone of iron. Would locks and rusted guns and horseshoes and ax head ect be an iron tone?
It is a hard machine to use with trash because you will be digging up trash all day long but will find some relics also. If you tire out after digging countless holes with trash after a few hours maybe a tone break would be a nice. This way you can at least set it at a number and dig above that number.
It would be nice if you added some improvements to the Gain you would let those of us that bought one get an update for a small fee so we don't have to buy a new detector.
Anyone into tone break. I'm talking USA digging? And I would like to have the iron tone a grunt not a mid tone. Unless that interferes with the modulation of the high tone on a two tone setting....just speaking my own thoughts
