NEW Video- Detecting Colonial Stagecoach Stop :detecting:

Bill Ladd

New member
Here's my first video for 2009 & my first real hunt of the new season after a long frozen winter here in New England. I'm picking through the iron trash in a remote wooded site before it gets all overgrown.....
Still have some "Season 1" DVD's left with 5, 30 min. episodes if anyone happens to enjoy what you see here in this 10 min. clip.
Thanks for watching,
Bill

You give me the inspiration to keep trecking into the woods. It is a 2 mile hike for me to detect my mother's birth site. She war born in an early 1800's two room log cabin. Few people even know of the place. I know the lay out of the place quite well. I MD'ed it once with an Ace, but have been wanting to get back there and hit it with my F-70. I'm working 6-10's, remolding a house that I need to get moved into and don't know if I will get there this year. There is more stuff there than I can haul out. I found a few personal things that made my mother happy.

Nice diggings Bill............

Had my F5 out today at a home site along the old PA canal. Didn't do to bad before the rain set in but boy was the TICK'S bad pulled two off me and my partner pulled a couple off
Do you run into many of those blood suckers ? Any how found a old pewter spoon and two Indian head cent's 1873 & 1898. We're heading back out the next weekend with Lot's of deep woods off on ! I'll post a full report next week. So far the F5 seems to be working well. Great video makes me want to get back out there and dig.

In fact I grew up in East Lyme, CT. where the term "Lyme Disease" originated....
I have had "lyme disease" twice from the tiny little ticks we have here. They are so small they look like a speck of dirt & that's the problem. I use something on my clothes "Permanone" now. It's not for skin, & can be found at walMart sporting dept. & realy seems to work well. Spray it on your clothes the night before..
HH,
Bill
