New Vibra-probe is coming out!

Beale

New member
Ok so after reading the rumors, and being the curious type I called the company. Treasure products is coming out with a new and improved Vibra-Probe. The new unit will have a bit better depth, be a bit more sensitive, have a better water seal, and have a low battery warning. Just FYI the price is going to go up a bit. Somewhere in the area of $150. These units will be making the big debut some time late this month.

Just thought I would pass this on, Beale.

One of the reasons I like my VibraProbe so much is because it is NOT super deep. The reason I want a pinpointer is so that I can find the coin either in the pile of dirt I have removed, or in the hole. As I mentioned in another post, my 560 goes about an inch, max. And that works well for me. If I had a pinpointer that went 3 or 4 inches deep, it wouldn't accomplish what it is I want it to do. Which is pinpointing after I've opened the hole and removed some dirt. JMHO Randy

Are they aware that the Vibraprobe interfer with most detectors when it is turned on.

Do they go back to the button on/off to avoid that or did they change anything at all.

As to the depth issue the person I spoke with said the new one may get 1 3/4-2 inches.

On the interferance issue I do not know. This person also said some electrical items inside were changed. The only one he mentioned specfic was the low batt warrning, Beale.
