New Vaquero

Have a new Vaquero. Any suggestions for relic hunting. Bob

Hi Bob; use low Disc and slow down. Deep targets will sound like trash at first, but when you pinpoint (All Metal) they will be very faint, soft responses. Shallow bits of trash will sound louder if they are shallow. If you attempt to increase your Disc, you'll cut out some of your smaller, good targets. In trash, go very slow. Set Disc at Iron. Any repeatable target can be checked by turning up the Disc, but no higher than two "hash marks" above Iron. If there is a nail lying on top of a button, your likely to lose or break up your signal if you turn your Disc too high. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
