Nice to see someone else posting from the other side of the pond. The ACE 400i is a fun pre-programmable metal detector. I love mine for hunting sports fields. It amplifies the more shallow targets and small ones, and you don't always need to wear a set of headphones if you are hunting in a quiet area. You should do very well with the 400i.

Hey Joe thanks for welcome to the forum.Your forefathers had to departed Ireland when we were under the rule of the crown .The famine Queen ,Queen Victoria .Say a prayer for your forefather who made the brave move to depart old Ireland and survive the voyage .Then to make a new life ,great stuff.I was down in Florida 2014 was in Orlando,kissamee crazy weather but nice n hot.Thanks Joe
