Hi guys, oh and ladies,
I'm new at the metal detecting trade and bought an MXT straight-away. Reading the different forums, you guys seemed to be the most excited about how the MXT workes and seem to have the most constructive dialogue. My first find after just taking it out and fooling around for about 45 minutes, was a gold ring. Well I guess that hooked me pretty quick.
Now for a question from a very green novice. Where would you recomend to purchase accessories for the MXT? I purchased my MXT from a local hobby shop, but they do not carry much in the way of accessories.
P.S. how do I get spell check to work in this forum?

a bunch of very nice, talented individuals. A second
coil would be either a 5.3 Eclipse or the little
4 X 6 mini-shooter. Both coils are winners and you
will be very surprised at there depth as well as
how close in they can get to pull out good targets.
Again welcome, any questions are welcome, too. Some of the fellas will give ya their input. BTW, you'll find that people don't agree on everything here about different aspects of hunting, coils, etc. BUT that is great. You can take all those different ideas and use them and then arrive at YOUR own conclusion. Best to you and enjoy, Richardntn

I would go with a smaller loop like Richard said for those trashy areas. Second I would buy a pin pointer.
I use the treasure mate, but White's also makes a good one.
