New US nickels ...... I like them and finally ...... one from Elson's home state ! ........

......... found one in pocket change. I don't have a US coin book and I was not aware of the series; I had heard though that a precious metal Buffalo was to be, or has been issued.

I have found a few Buffalos, as well as several Shield and V nickels on our beaches, all in pretty grim shape and getting a date is iffy. Wheat pennies are more common, some dug ones are in good shape and dates may be had; salt water......... forget it !
