I just spoke with Uncle Willy's caregiver and I'm afraid I have some bad news. Bill is back in the hospital after suffering breathing problems and today he had another heart attack. He has lost a lot of weight, and his doctor has given him less than a year to live. It breaks my heart to post this ,but I know he has a lot of friends that would want to know. As I hear more I'll keep you posted.

thanks for keeping us updated,i am so sorry to hear that he is getting worse but i will pray allot for his recovery.

Bad news ,will pray for Bill and his wife.

Is there a place we can send cards to him ?? or maybe a nice forum greeting from all.

Something like this signed by all who care too. Then paste and post..on a seperate area for someone to copy and give it to him..

Uncle Willy ..we miss you ..Hurry back... All your friends at Findmall !!

I've seen doctors be wrong with their life expectancy predictions a lot of times...

Get well soon, Bill!

OH man this is really sad  i hope and pray you get better Bill

Very sorry to hear that he is up against it. Hopefully, his situation will improve in the short term and allow him to enjoy the rest of his life. The doctors can get it wrong too. so maybe his got less the 20 years to live. Seen that happen often enough.

May God give your body the strength and perseverance to overcome it's illness and return you home to your wife and family. Although your not present on the forum with your words of wisdom and metal detecting guidance you are in our thoughts and prayers.

In all things it is better to hope than to despair.

I never listen to predictions of death. Only you know in these instances. I am very saddened to hear of the troubles.

When you say a situation or a person is hopeless, you are slamming the door in the face of God.

This is terrible news but we can all do our part and pray that Bill has a speedy recovery .....I'm sure he has the best of doctors, but there is not a doctor alive that has the power of God Almighty !!.......My son was in a serious auto accident back in 1988 where they had to remove 1/2 of his brain .....The doctors all surrounded me and told me that my son had 1 % chance of living ..... My sister and I prayed that God do what he thought was best and we left it in his hands .....All we asked for was a sign ......When my sister stopped praying , a woman across the way picked up a magazine and on the back in BIG LETTERS it read " ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE " ......I knew then and there that my son was going to make it ....He has continued to make progress over the years , and is walking and talking , and is healthier than I am !!......NEVER underestimate the power of prayer !!....God is Good !!.....Jim

Thanks for the update, Doctors don't know most of the time. There's no time line. I hope they get better. Take care Uncle Willy!! ^_^
