New to water

Hi after two months of reading this forum I had to go out and buy an under water detector. I got a Garrett Beach Hunter AT3. I have got 7 rings in two days. It's a whole new world out there now. Thanks

Hi carneygeorge, congratulations on the 7 ring gig! would love to see you're pics. I have noticed on my Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II that the pulse sounds are much quieter in fresh water lakes than at the beach with the waves and current. You're At3 is a vlf unit I believe and I would think that it should be more stable in fresh than salt. Hope this helps.HH
