hi im new to this detecting iv jumped in with both feet and bought a minelab safari as its seems to be a good bit of kit didnt want to buy a cheap one and then 3 mounths later wanting better are they hard to use thanks
 
I think you'll really like the Safari. I am still learning to listen to mine. The signals of a FBS detector are very different than any other machine I've owned. Watch some of the videos on youtube of the explorer and also at minelabowners.com, this will give you an idea what good signals sound like. When you get the detector, practice and listen, alot.
