New to the vaquero

Going to try some relic hunting with my vaquero. Wondering how well it does for relics. Also would like to hear opinions on how best to set it up for a relic hunt. Thanks!!

If I was setting up the machine for relics I would do a neutral ground balance and then give the knob about 1/8 turn negative. Run in disc mode at a low disc setting. Break up on a small nail or tiny, tiny foil. Sensitivity at 10 or try higher if the machine is quiet/very little chatter.

I can usually use mine with the sensitivity turned up at the end of the red . I run it neutral , light on the disc and threshold a little better than a hum . I want to be able to use the all metal "pinpoint" button on the targets too .
