New to the Safari...

I recent purchased a very nice Safari from a member here and finally got a chance to swing it in a local park. Didn't find a whole lot and wasn't expecting to. Only spent about an hour on it and I'm definitely going to need some time getting use to it. As always I tend to do things backwards and took it out without knowing much about it. The MLOtv videos on the Safari afterwards were very informative and helpful. Looking forward to getting to know this detector. After all said and done, its not that hard of a machine to learn.

Stick with it. It's very confusing at first. The depth is right on.Get a good digger because you will be digging deep.
